Founder & Executive Director

Silvia Alvarez turned a childhood dream into a reality when she founded Triumph Teen Life Center in 2022. A haven for at-risk teens, Triumph has served hundreds of Skagit County teens and families since its founding through its after school program, events, parent trainings, and food pantry.

While we've come a long way, we still need you.

Serve Day

Serve Day is fast approaching! Parents get ready because Triumph and Radius are blessing hundreds of families this year with school supplies for the upcoming school year. Join us for a music, games, food, free shoes, and Triumph's Annual Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, August 12.

Saturday, August 12 from 11 am - 1 pm

Radius Church, 2111 Riverside Dr., Mount Vernon, WA

A million times thank you to the sponsors that made this year's Backpack Giveaway possible, especially Coordinated Care, who's generous contributions as our Primary Sponsor got us to our goal of 1,000 backpacks and school supplies to families in need.

Thanks to your support, on this Serve Day, not only are we providing 1,000 youth with the tools they need to succeed academically and reach for the stars, but we are alleviating some of the financial hardship being experienced by hundreds of families that are preparing for the upcoming school year.

 We are incredibly grateful to Coordinated Care for their commitment to the thriving of our youth and dedication to transforming health and well-being in Washington communities. Thank you for your partnership and ongoing collaboration that has a lasting impact on Skagit County youth and their families.

Teen Life

As we reminisce on our July adventures, we want to extend a few special thank you's to our program partners— Vamos Outdoors Project, Mount Vernon City Library, Communities in School, and Skagit Transit. Your collaboration ensured a month our teens will never forget. A month full of art activities, sunny afternoons in the Puget sailing and kayaking, and mornings exploring the stacks following by visits to the Bookmobile. Thank you for being an invaluable part of the Triumph experience!

All teens ages 11-18 are welcome to sign up to participate in any of our programs. To register your teen for our after school program, sign up here or email our team at development@triumphtlc.org.
